There is no doubt that having a break in another country is the perfect way to spend a weekend. Of course you do not have to worry much about spending a long time, not travel. You might be in another country to enjoy a totally different way of life within a few hours of leaving the UK.

City Breaks in Europe
City breaks have never been more popular, especially as the credit crisis takes a piece of consumers' pockets. With many Britons choose to share their summer vacation for a couple of well-planned short term, here are our tips for a city breaks in Europe this year.

Some tour operators offer deals in May where you can have multiple stops on your trip to add a little variety. An example could be flying to Rome or Venice, staying a few nights, then takes a train to Rome or Milan. Near Venice is also the Lake Garda, which can offer a break from the bustle of the city.
Budapest consists of two separate cities, Buda and Pest, located opposite each other on the Danube. Buda half is cultural, with many cafes, bars, music and intellectual coffee scene. Pest is the commercial hub, but also home to some museums, the fantastic riverside Parliament and the recently restored Cathedral of St. Stephen.
Budapest is famous for its spas and bath houses, one of the most accessible being the Gellert Baths at the beautiful art nouveau Gellert Hotel on the Buda side of the River. Castle Hill, Royal Palace, the Labyrinth of Buda Castle and Margaret Island are all worth a visit.
Other cities are Amsterdam and Prague, towing recent favorite deer and chicken for the weekend, but also amazing sights to see. Prague is a shining example of Eastern Europe with the culture and architecture of buildings is more surprising, especially when the snow fell.
